While everyone is keeping a careful eye on news reports and updates on the COVID-19 pandemic, I want to assure you that we are continuing our work with clients in much the same way as before. E.M. Wasylik is a company that finds solutions to challenging situations on a daily basis, and our team is working with clients to weather through these new conditions.
We have functioned as a virtual company since our inception more than twenty years ago. We know the “ins and outs” of operating in this manner, and have continued to do so because of the enormous benefits. We will share our “virtual working” expertise with clients as they continue to transition to new ways of teams working and collaborating together.
As will be no surprise, safety comes first and foremost. We will do everything to ensure the safety of our employees, clients and partners. We have cut all travel and are utilizing conference calls and web technology to facilitate meetings.
With trade shows postponed for the time being, this means we are turning to new opportunities of integrating marketing and sales functions within an organization. Just as an example, our digital marketing strategies are ramping up for clients, and we have a dedicated team focused on virtual business development, sales and marketing efforts.
I’d like to emphasize that recovery will come in the future. We don’t know when, but we know it will come. As we work with clients, we are not only developing a short-term plan for continuing forward with business now, but also crafting longer-term plans to prepare for the recovery phase. There is no time like now to ensure all the needed resources are in place to be ready to move forward for when that time comes.
